Minako Ishii are donating 50% of their
royalties toward this scholarship fund
from their children’s flip-book entitled
“May Day/Lei Day.”
We believe a great way to help support the
Lei Fund and help it grow is to ask anyone
planning to get married in Hawai`i to
donate one percent of their wedding
expense toward supporting Hawai`i's
underprivileged children. So if a couple
spends $10,000 dollars on their wedding
they would only need to donate $100
dollars. If just 10 couples a day do this for
one year, that would equal $365,000
dollars.
Kids' Pics teaches photography to
children at Maili Land in Waianae,
Oahu, ages from 6 to 12.
They will be celebrating their first
photo exhibition May 2nd, 2008
during the Honolulu First Friday
Gallery Walk from 6pm -10pm at
the Chinatown Courtyard (1126
Smith St., Honolulu, 96817).
All proceeds from the sales of their
photographs will be donated to the
Lei Fund.
